ISSMO and the LOC will provide 60 registration fee exemptions to support student participation from underrepresented regions.

Note
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Your registration will be invalid if your payment has not been completed by the due date.
- Each registration entitles the participant to present one accepted work, either as an oral or a poster presentation. Additional presentations require a separate registration.

For each accompanying person (not the registered participant) to attend the following social events of WCSMO-17:

Student Registration Fee Waiver
We are pleased to announce that WCSMO-17 will offer a full registration fee waiver for selected students presenting their research at the conference.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a full-time undergraduate, master’s, or PhD student at the time of application
- Have an accepted presentation at WCSMO-17
- Demonstrate financial need (e.g., limited institutional travel funding)
Support Provided
- Full waiver of the conference registration fee
- If the registration fee has already been paid, it will be refunded upon acceptance
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents via email:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) (max. 2 pages)
- Letter of Recommendation from the applicant’s academic advisor (max. 1 page)
How to Apply
Submit your application through our Contact Form selecting the subject “Student Fee Waiver”. In the message, include a link to a shared folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) containing:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) (max. 2 pages)
- Letter of Recommendation from your academic advisor (max. 1 page)
Please ensure the folder is shared with “Anyone with the link” permission.
